As a part of the event, we'll also host two inspiring conversations moderated by editors from Business of Home and Veranda.

From 10:30 to 11:30AM, join Ellen McGauley, executive editor of Veranda for a lively conversation with celebrated interiors stylist, former editor and design writer Mieke ten Have. Immediately following the talk, Mieke will sign copies of her new book, Interiors Styled by Mieke ten Have.

From 2:30 to 3:30PM, join Kaitlin Petersen, editor in chief of Business of Home for a dynamic discussion with Carisha Swanson, director of editorial special projects for House Beautiful. These two friends and fellow editors will explore the role of showhouses in building a designer’s career, with a focus on why you should say yes to doing one and how you know you’re ready. Their talk will include a special highlight and virtual tour of the recent Whole Home project in Asheville which was halted because of Hurricane Helene.
